This is the second car mirror we've had and this one is far superior. I love that it adjusts to any angle, so you can easily see baby at a glance in your rear view mirror.
This mirror I guess is supposed to rotate on a ball so that you can angle it any which way you choose. The ball seemed to be glued in place, and the mirror snapped right off when trying to adjust it. If it could have been moved, it would have made a great mirror.
This product makes it more enjoyable to drive with my granddaughter, as I can see what she is doing in the back seat.
Well built, I think it will make it through a few more grandchildren.
I was happy to find this. I had a mirror that did not work with my Jeep. I also had a mirror on a suction cup that was so small I couldn't see my baby's face. This mirror is perfect.
This mirror was easy to install and I loved that I could rotate it to exactly the best viewing point to see my son. Unfortunately on the second day I hit a pothole and the mirror separated from the base and fell into my son. I am lucky it did not hit his head or face and cause damage!!! I am returning this product, because after several attempts of trying to make the mirror stay on the base I have come to the conclusion there is no way to do so. It was quite a disappointment!
We tried 5 different mirrors before buying this one. The other mirrors would fall down, would move around, were blurry, or would not attach properly for viewing a car seat in the middle position of the backseat. This mirror avoids all the problems above! It has a strap attached to a flat plate with non-slip backing to hold it securely on the headrest. The mirror pivots to the exact position (even to view the middle backseat) you want and stays there. The large size of the mirror (about the size of a salad plate) provides a very clear image of our baby. Skip all the other mirrors and buy this one first!!!
I had a problem before with other car mirrors that would only attach to the middle portion of the back seat. With my SUV i didn't have that so this mirror works perfectly. I can actually see my daughter now. And it took me literally 2 mins to attach this one on. Very easy!
This is not a safe product. Beware. The mirror is attached to a strap via a 'ball in socket' plastic connector. On day three of owning this product, the mirror fell out of the socket while we were driving. The mirror unit did not properly snap back in to the socket after falling out.
Separately, we had run the car thru the CHP (california highway patrol) checkpoint to make sure our baby seat was installed correctly the same week. The CHP reinforced how dangerous the Sunshine Kids Easy View mirror is - we were reminded by the officer that we were lucky it did not injure our infant son when it fell off. We would return it for a refund, but with postage, it nets out the cost of the poor quality product.
This mirror is great! It's adjustable and can be rotated to get the best view of your baby in the backseat!
